'GOT TO DANCE' - SKY 1
Our very own Street/Hip Hop Tutor, Supple is the Creative Director on 'Got To Dance' currently on our screens.
Supple will be working with the dancers who have got through to the finals - so watch out for some fantastic Choreography!

'FREAKY FARLEYS' - NICKEOLDEON CHANNEL
Many Stomp! students are currently filming for a new TV Comedy series called 'Freaky Farleys' -
Costumes are fantastic - Vampires, Werewolfs and ghouls to name a few!

Stomp! Students Have Opportunity to Dance with Diversity!!

Mill Hill boys join Diversity in giant street dance

FOUR boys from a Mill Hill drama school wowed crowds in Covent Garden by performing a giant group street dance with Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity.
The group, from Stomp! School for the Performing Acts, in Mill Hill, took to the streets with 100 other dancers to perform a one-off routine following only six hours of rehearsals.
Conor Madden, 12, from Chandos Avenue, Whetstone; Valentin Polyakov, 11, from Shakespeare Road, Mill Hill; Harry Scott, ten, from Oman Avenue, Cricklewood; and Christian Tye, 13, from Nupton Drive, Barnet, all joined Diversity to strut their stuff in front of dozens of onlookers at the event.
The dance was staged by Disney to mark the arrival of their new boy-focused TV channel, Disney XD, due to hit screens next Monday.
"It was such a great opportunity for the boys. Diversity were really lovely and encouraging, and showed them what they can do if they work hard and have passion."

Older Students also had the opportunity to appear in the new '3D Streetdance movie' with George Sampson, Flawless and Diversity - and have already seen themselves on the trailer! The film is to be released this summer and is set to be big!

CHANGES TO THE STOMP! SQUAD
Entry to the advanced class - which is on a Thursday evening in Finchley (Finchley Catholic High School 6-7p.m)
Will no longer be via Audition.
If you are a dancer aged 11yrs - 19yrs and think you may be at a high standard you will be welcome to come along and give the class a go - dancers however, will be expected to keep up with the level which will be at a face pace!
Don't forget - there is always the Intermediate - also with Supple and as much fun!

Following the success of the photos take of the Stomp! street dance classes, Jon Challicom will be coming back to the Thursday class -- this time the Acting classes to take photos to be used for a leaflet campaign for NSPCC (reflecting children/young people, happy and taking part in everyday activities)
This will be on April 2nd - release forms need to be in if students are to be photographed and if they would like to receive a copy of the photos, at a later date, on c.d to keep.

The Squad were asked by The Daily Mirror - the organisers of The People's March to dance at the rally in Hyde Park on Saturday 20th September.
They were asked as a group of 'Inspirational Young people' to perform on stage to the thousands of people showing their support to the Anti Knife Campaign.

Andy Abraham's visit to Stomp! as a great success and the kids gave him a real welcome! He sang Uk's Entry to this year's Eurovision Song Contest -'Even If' and chatted and signed autographs for the students.
The visit was filmed for CBBC Newsround, and although he didnt win - we thought his performance was FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC!!

TALENT SCOUT
Last Thursday a talent scout from McIntyre Entertainements visited our classes in the search for young street/hip hop dancers to appear in 'In The Hoods' - a fantastic Hip Hop Show currently on at The Peacock Theatre. The kids looked fabulous and well done to those who made such an effort to impress - we await news!
Firefly Film and Television Company have asked to come along to the Saturday School to meet the students in Black group (12-17yrs, a.m & p.m.) and also both the Thursday Evening Acting Classes. They are looking for interesting views for a forthcoming documentary with the possibility of actual using some of the students in the programme itself.
YOUTH ACTING CLASS THEATRE TRIP:
The Youth Acting Class Thursdays class met up for a class trip to see 'Swimming with Sharks' starring our Patron, Christian Slater. They loved the show and the icing on the cake was to go backstage and meet the actor himself!
